  •        Number of Rooms:  2 x combined Baby Room and 1 x 2-5s Room

  •        Total capacity of Nursery: 71 place Nursery

  •        Opening Times:  8 PM -6PM

  Pembury nursery is a lively and exciting Nursery in the heart of Hackney. The Nursery has fantastic transport links from in and around London which makes commuting much easier. The nursery itself is bright and spacious offering fantastic outside space which is individual to each room.

   The Preschool Room is energetic, and our children thrive on exploring the setting and utilising the many varied resources including an adventurous garden. Our new Room Leader must be dynamic in their practice and imaginative in delivering education, keeping our young minds focused and flourishing. The Room leader must have the ability to lead, identifying others skill base and helping to build confidence within their team. The days to day management of you room will be your responsibility, making sure smooth and effective routines are in place.

  About you:

• Full and relevant child care qualification at level 3 or above.

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

• experience working in an early year’s setting and specific experience with Baby room.

• To be a confident leader, articulating your ideas and using planning and preparation to ensure their success.

• To distribute staff and resources effectively, maintaining ratios whilst supporting other rooms.

• To champion LEYF’s values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time.

• To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others.

• Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.

• A child centred approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate
