Room Manager Morden

Are you an experienced Nursery Nurse seeking a new challenge of becoming a Room Manager!Then this could be an ideal opportunity to join a great organisation which is able to offer career progression!

You, as a Room Manager will be responsible for day to day care, education and development of children age 0-5 years. You will have experience in using the Early years Foundation Stage to plan, provide and assess activities suitable for young group of key children to support their ongoing learning and development.

You will need to have the following attributes/ skills to be considered for this role:

* Qualification: Level 3 in Childcare

* NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, SVQ level 3.

* A commitment and Dedication to deliver exceptional childcare

* 2 years previous experience working and caring for children under 5 year old ideally in an early years setting.

* Excellent communication skills, organisational skills and interpersonal skills.

The key responsibilities as a Nursery Room Manager will be to manage a team of individuals and will guide and support them by role modelling your knowledge and best practice. Duties will also include:

* As a manager of the room you have overall responsibility for your room and staff within it, ensuring they are performing to the highest standards.

* As a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child's needs are met.

* Get to know the families of children within your room, update parents on their child's day and development with invaluable professional feedback.

* Support parents with any SEN/ASL needs.
