East Herts, Welwyn & Hatfield and Broxbourne Districts

Family Centres offer families with children under 11 years old, a seamless and integrated range of services, support and information. 

The Family Support team work with families to provide access to early help through a range of personalised support packages.

Within our Early Start group sessions, children can grow and flourish by participating in play and learning opportunities. While families preparing for the arrival of their new baby and enjoying the first year of parenthood, are supported by our Perinatal and Under 1’s Workers.

We are passionate about this rewarding area of work and we are looking to recruit experienced family support workers and childcare practitioners to join our highly skilled and enthusiastic team. 

Family Support Workers £21, 879 ( rising to £23,023 after successful completion of probation and training)

Perinatal and Under 1’s workers £21,879

Early Start Workers £18,281
