Kitchen assistant - Camberwell Grove Nursery

  • Salary: £17,825.64 - £18,428.88

  • Hours: 40 Working hours per week

    Camberwell Grove Nursery requires a kitchen assistant to help prepare nutritionally well- balanced meals. The kitchen assistant will have experience in a busy environment and understand importance of health and safety with particular knowledge of allergens and cross contamination. Following the lead of your chef, the role will involve general housekeeping duties within the nursery to help maintain a safe and healthy environment.

    There is an opportunity to grow with our LEYF Chef academy, supporting you if you choose to develop your career.

    Our nursery environment is one of excitement and curiosity and champions safe fit and healthy values, we encourage all our staff to engage with the children including some food-based activities that you may assist in with the Chef.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic Food Hygiene Qualification

  • Demonstrate Excellent Food Safety practices

  • Enjoy working in and engaging in a fun environment with Children from birth – 3mths

  • Must complete DBS Check

  • Total capacity of Nursery: 81 place Nursery

  • 3x baby rooms, 1 x Toddler, 1x Preschool.

  • Nursery Opening Times: 7.30am-6.30pm
