Job Details
An opportunity like no other; to live, work and play in the mountains this winter! We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic and passionate staff to join the team.
As a member of our childcare team you’ll be allocated an exclusive group of children from one of our children’s clubs and you’ll ensure they have a fun, safe and exhilarating action-packed holiday. Each day you’ll help create an exciting, stimulating and imaginative programme involving a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. Your role will vary from entertaining little ones in our in-house crèches to offering a ‘drop and collect’ service for older children heading to ski school.
Responsibilities
- Tailor-make weekly age appropriate exciting activity programmes
- Deliver the highest level of childcare
- Create and develop a happy, safe and stimulating environment
- Build excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and children
- Provide a ‘drop and collect’ service for children participating in ski school
- Observe children’s progression and achievements, record keeping where necessary
- Participate in evening childcare duties
Requirements
- CACHE, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC National Diploma or equivalent childcare qualification
- First Aid Certificate
- Experience working with children from 4 months old
- Enhanced disclosure required through the ‘Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)’ desired
- UK/EU Passport holder
- UK National Insurance Number
- UK Bank Account

Childcare
At Mark Warner we have an award winning childcare department that runs throughout both our summer and winter seasons so that parents get to have some down time and lots of fun too! Our dedicated and passionate childcare team work hard to ensure that the children in their care have the best experience possible on their holiday and use their creative minds to come up with action-packed plans for the children which can range from going windsurfing in the summer to hot chocolate and crepe trips in the winter. We cater for a variety of different age groups within our childcare department and take part in a wide range of activities that are both fun and safe for each age group. We also offer an evening service in both our summer and winter programme where the children will come along and watch a movie and then go off to sleep ready to be picked up by their parents after dinner. Mark Warner have been providing family friendly holidays for over 45 years’ which allows our childcare staff to build on the already phenomenal part of Mark Warner that has been created not only for the children, but for the parents too.
