Nursery Practitioner

We are based in Custom House in East London. As an established setting in Newham, we are recruiting full time level 3 qualified nursery practitioners to work in our baby room and toddler room.

Candidates have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in order to be considered for the position. Candidates must have at least one years recent experience of working in a nursery setting since gaining their level 3 qualification

The role involves:

Maintaining high standards in delivering the revised EYFS to help the children progress according to their developmental needs.

Working as part of a team as a key person in a caring and nurturing environment.

Working in partnership with parents and other external professionals to meet the varied needs of the children.

Qualifications and experience:

Must have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in order to be considered for the position.

Over one years recent experience of working in a nursery setting.

Up to date knowledge and understanding of EYFS framework.

A good command of spoken and written English.

An enhanced DBS check will be carried out.

Previous training, for example in paediatric first aid, safeguarding, SEN, food hygiene, health and safety and first aid at work are advantageous.
