Hornsey Road Children’s Centre are currently recruiting an Early Years Practitioner to join their experienced team of practitioners.
The Children’s Centre provides early year’s education and childcare to a total of 48 children daily, Monday – Friday, within extended hours, 8am – 6pm. In our care of babies, under twos, and 3-4 year olds we work with the London Borough of Islington as part of the local Bright Start offer to ensure we provide all our children with the best start in life, and promote the importance of early year’s education. Our partnership with all parents and families is greatly valued in achieving this aim.
You would be joining an experienced team and gaining committed and supportive colleagues. You have the potential to gain experience of working with different aged children, and those with additional educational and support needs, as we assess, plan, and respond to the presenting needs of all the children from our local community. You will need a minimum of a Level 3 childcare qualification, and must be able to demonstrate understanding of child development, child protection and Special Educational Needs.
Our organisation, Manor Gardens Welfare Trust (MGWT) is a charity with an excellent history of supporting people, including families and children, to improve their health and wellbeing. We work with local communities to empower people in improving their lives, and ensure all children have the best start in life. We deliver Early Years education in two nursery settings in Islington; Manor Gardens Nursery and Hornsey Road Children’s Centre.
