Young Friends Nursery Nature Nursery is looking for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their exceptional team!

At Young Friends our focus is on children, the environment, the outdoors and animals and our team are very passionate. They spend their days between our beautiful nursery setting in central Hove and our Nature Plot a short drive, in our nursery minibus, away. We have created a special place where children learn through playing and exploring about composting, growing and biodiversity. Our nursery is committed to a plastic free environment and we encourage children to recycle, reuse and respect their planet and immediate environment. The children go on regular beach cleans and learn about saving our planet for our future in a child friendly, positive way. We have a rabbit, guinea pigs and a gorgeous nursery Labrador that spends time with the children in the rooms.

Our nursery is well resourced with natural loose parts, upcycled furniture and play equipment that reflect our ethos. We have created an open plan, child centered homely environment where children learn and develop in all the areas of learning.

We are looking for an equally enthusiastic and imaginative new member to join our team. We welcome applicants that hold a level 3 qualification and are dedicated to early years child development, the outdoors and sustainable education.

We are a unique and special place to work and have lots of other exciting incentives that are unique to Young Friends.

We are dedicated to all aspects of safer recruitment and therefore we will be taking up all references, undertaking thorough checks and undertaking an enhanced DBS. We are an equal opportunities employer.  All applicants will go through a short listing process. Successful applicants will be invited for interview. Our new team members undergo a thorough induction period. Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications and previous experience.
