Linden Tree Nursery Schools are offering a opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate and capable manager to join our dedicated and diverse team within our Froebelian settings for children aged from six months to five years old.
You will already have experience managing staff in a busy day nursery environment and enjoy those challenges. You will have some experience of Froebelian practice and understand the principles which underpin the approach. We will support you with our dedicated Head Office team nearby and support your journey in Froebel practice. You will become a key part of one of London's most innovative, truly independent nursery groups. Over 50% of staff in our company are Graduates and we offer an annual Leadership programme to senior staff.
We are small, bespoke nursery schools which operate 3 south London sites, each with a capacity of 32-43 children. All of our settings have been renovated inside and out creating an organised and calm environment, with a natural effect garden for children to grow and develop through the Froebelian approach. Each nursery school has local access to green spaces, community amenities and have wider expeditions planned throughout the year.
We are on an exciting journey and seek an aspirational and knowledgeable individual to join our management team who is looking for a new challenge and for the opportunity to grow further with us. You must have an excellent work ethic, be professional, whilst friendly, and possess the ability to emotionally engage the staff team.

We have a dedicated Training Manager who encourages the wider team to build and develop their practice, within the Froebelian approach, in order to create excellence.

Our opening hours are 8am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday. We are closed on all Bank Holidays, 2 Inset days, one Staff Appreciation afternoon, Christmas Eve and for the week between Christmas.
Benefits
Salary: £30,000 to £37,000 plus bonus
Holiday: 30 days plus 8 days bank holiday p/a

Requirements
You must have a minimum Level 3 qualification (Degree or Level 5 Management qualification desired) in Early Years and/or Education and Child Care
At least three years’ experience of managing a nursery and experience of dealing Ofsted
Excellent problem solving abilities
Enthusiasm to develop future educational practice
Must have the right to work in the UK, no convictions or cautions, clear DBS
