Nursery Deputy Manager / SENCO

Permanent contract, required for January 2021.
27 hours per week
M 8–3, T 8.30–3, W 8.30–12.30, Th 8-12.30, F 8.30 - 3
£ 13.00 – 14.00 per hour
(depending on qualifications and experience)
5.6 weeks holiday pay (pro rata)
Emmanuel Community Church Nursery is a thriving multi-cultural, multi-faith pre-school group that caters for young children age 2-5 years. We offer the children the opportunity to learn through play in a stimulating, safe, caring and nurturing environment with a Christian ethos.
This popular Pre-school needs a part-time Deputy Manager and SENCO to work five days per week. (see above for hours). You will be part of a team of seven staff.
You will support the manager in the day-to-day leadership of the group and deputize in their absence. You will be SENCO for the group and act as key person to a small group of children. You will be required to attend occasional meetings and training courses. You will need experience of working with young children. NVQ 3 or above and previous experience in a similar setting are essential.
