Professional nursery with a strong commitment to staff development are recruiting for a room leader. Based within easy and quick reach of central Watford.

Role would suit either an experiences room leader or an experienced nursery nurse looking to take their next step into a leadership role. Must have at least 12 months experience of working with babies.

The role:

Full time ( 5 days a week)

Lead and support  staff to ensure that the developmental and emotional needs of babies are met in a caring, happy and nurturing environment.

Take the lead in creating and maintaining a professional, happy and productive working environment.

Work as a key person and build warm bonds with children and strong partnerships with parents.

Follow all safeguarding and health and safety procedures to keep children happy and safe.

The candidate:

Must be a qualified nursery nurse or early years practitioner and hold a recognised childcare qualification at level 3 or above

Ideally have experience in a room leader role or be a very experienced nursery nurse who has shown leadership in other ways

Have  at least 12 months experience of working with babies

Be a confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills

Have excellent organisational skills
