L3 Nursery Nurse

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate staff to join our team in a friendly, nurturing nursery setting. The successful candidate must be passionate & determined to ensure the children's learning and development is continued at a high level.

Nursery Practitioners- Level 3, with Montessori training would be an asset, with good verbal and written communication skills and a love of interacting with children. Knowledge of EYFS essential. What we are looking for:

• Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. 
• Ability to identify and follow best practice within the nursery setting to ensure it is maintained at a high standard and is safe for all children
• To consistently demonstrate an ability to work of their own initiative and to be a role model for other staff, to step up in the absence of the Room Leader, implementing high standard practices at all times
• Ensure all children are happy and stimulated with appropriate activities – demonstrating beneficial interaction with the children
• Ability to provide care to all children whilst creating a trusting and friendly atmosphere through professional and considerate behaviour
• Attend staff meetings as required
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• A satisfactory DBS check
