Nursery Teacher - pre-school room

We are looking for a committed experience Teacher to work with our pre-school room with children aged 3 years - 5 years.  This is a job of responsibility to ensure a high quality care and education for the children in their  care each day.  This post would also require you to hold responsibility for the opening or the closing of the nursery each day.  You would help lead the team and co-ordinate the rota of the day, following the nursery established routines.

The nursery has a wide range of activities, such as Forest School, Gymnastics, Spanish lessons, Ballet, Yoga and Football.

This post requires you to have good communication skills and in-depth knowledge of EYFS and ability to write Learning journeys and observations to a good standard independently.

English must be of a high standard both verbally and written.

Relationships with parents is key- so the ability to communicate is essential. 

A caring and loving relationship with the children is vital. Experience is preferable. We are a Montessori nursery, but have a team of Montessori teachers, BA in Education and NVQ3 qualified staff in the team.

Hours are 9am-6pm Monday to Friday.
