We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Early Years Practitioner – Pre-School Room Lead to join us at our Rainbows Nursery to help us deliver a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children. Our nursery offers an inclusive service for both mainstream children, and those with special and complex needs. We are a unique nursery who caters for a very diverse community.
We deliver a range of exciting, creative and innovative specialist and inclusive services to children and young people with disabilities including those with complex physical and learning disabilities, communication disabilities such as autism and behaviours that can challenge.

About the role:
The post holder will deliver a high standard of development and care for pre-school children who attend the Rainbow Nursery. The role will require you to work with SENCO and mainstream children.
As the EYP – Pre-School Room Lead you will plan and provide a safe, supportive and stimulating environment where children can thrive and learn. You will lead on developing and maintaining key partnership with parents /carers and to actively involve them in their child’s learning.
You will be able to access each child within the prime areas of development.
You will support the provision of activities and opportunities, which promote equality and full inclusion, giving respectful consideration to the children and their families from different cultural and diverse backgrounds.
The ideal candidate should:
- Hold an Early Years Practitioner Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Have experience of working with children in an early years setting which is Ofsted regulated
- Ideally have experience working in early years settings
- Have a willingness to work with and support pre-school children who have high care and complex needs
