The  Early Years Alliance is the largest early years membership organisation and voluntary sector provider of quality affordable childcare and education in England. An educational charity, the Alliance represents the interests of over 14,000 member settings who deliver care and learning to over 800,000 families every year. We are looking to recruit Family Practitioners based in Lewisham, London.

Main duties and essential criteria:

We wish to recruit 3 dynamic Family Practitioners to work on a 1:1 basis with vulnerable families as part of our children's centre team.  Work will take place in the family home, in the centres and may also be delivered online.

Applicants should have recent significant experience of working with vulnerable families, of compiling excellent case notes and using a database. 

You will need to posses a Working with Parents qualification at Level 4, or NVQ 3 as a minimum in childcare, health or social care, early years or education (or equivalent). The Family Practitioners will deliver at least one targeted programme such as Triple P, Freedom Programme etc, therefore you should have excellent safeguarding knowledge and IT skills.

 

Hours per week: 35

Weeks per year:  52
