We are looking to recruit a Domestic Abuse Practitioner based in Lewisham, London.

Main duties and essential criteria:

We wish to recruit a dynamic Domestic Abuse Practitioner to be responsible for the delivery of a support service to vulnerable children and families impacted by domestic abuse.  This will be done through a mixed programme of face to face targeted 1:1 work in the family home, in children and family centres and in the community, as well as online work via Zoom and other media. The role includes regular delivery of domestic abuse recovery programmes.

We hope you have trained to be able to deliver the Freedom Programme or CODA programme, if not ,we will provide training, but you must have good recent experience working with families impacted by domestic abuse, as well as possessing excellent safeguarding knowledge, IT skills and reporting skills. You will need to posses Working with Parents qualification at Level 4 or NVQ 3 as a minimum in childcare, health or social care, early years or education (or equivalent).

 

Hours per week: 35

Weeks per year:  52
