Salary: Up to £35,000 per year

Established nursery in a lovely rural location (but with good transport links from Slough) is looking to appoint a nursery manager.

This is a permanent, full time position

The role:

Recruiting, training and managing all staff: ensuring a positive and productive work environment where staff feel valued and supported

Ensuring all regulatory standard are met and high standards across all aspects of the nursery’s work are maintained

Working with senior personnel across the organisation to make a positive contribution to senior team meetings to ensure the continued success of the organisation

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the nursery

Work closely with parents and carers, canvassing and valuing their views and opinions

Provide regular and accurate reports on nursery occupancy and future forecasting

Oversee the care and education of all children to ensure it is of the very highest standards

Remaining up to date with all administrative tasks necessary for the smooth and safe running of the nursery.

The candidate

Qualified to at least level 3

Have a minimum of 5 years experience in early years with at least some of that in a leadership role

Be confident and ambitious

Have excellent communication skills

Have access to own transport or be happy to commute using public transport
