Early Years Adviser

Contract: Permanent, fulltime at 37 hours per week (Part time will be considered for the right candidate)

Salary: Band 6 – FTE £46,000 p.a. (pro-rata for reduced hours) based on appropriate skills and experience.

Location: Hertfordshire.

Currently remote due to Covid-19. Post Covid-19 lockdown restrictions there will be an opportunity to work up to 2 days in the Head Office – Stevenage with the remainder as remote working. Flexibility required to work across educational settings in Hertfordshire and neighbouring counties.

This is a busy, fulfilling and exciting role that requires commitment and professionalism, but gives flexibility to find a manageable work / life balance. As an adviser you are able to manage your own diary to plan support and training that meets the needs of our schools. In addition to this you will have time for professional research and opportunities for debate and discussion around current issues in early education.

We are seeking an individual with QTS, a passion for high quality early years practice, experience of leadership and an interest in genuinely helping others make a difference for young children.

The team are working remotely where possible to support their educational settings and when required, providing onsite support in line with Government guidelines. Therefore the ability to reach different locations by car will be essential. If you drive then a full driving licence and appropriate car insurance will be required. Post Covid-19 you will have the opportunity to work in the office for a maximum of 2 days per week. As there is a permanent home working element to this role, you will need to ensure you are equipped for home working.
