Are you an experienced nursery practitioner or nursery nurse looking for your next step into a leadership role? Do you hold a level 3 qualification ( this does not need to be a Montessori qualification)

The manager is equally keen to hear from practitioners  with Early Years or Montessori qualifications

Are you an experienced nursery room leader looking to join a team where you will be valued, listened to and supported?

Small, established day nursery in Ascot, Berkshire are looking to recruit a room leader for their under 2s room.

Ideally you will have experience working with this age group.

The nursery is open 50 weeks of the year with core opening hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday 

The benefits:

Permanent contract- 40 hours a week, worked over 4 or 5 days

The role:

Permanent contract. 40 hours a week, can be worked over 4 or 5 days to suit the needs of the right candidate.

Lead a team of nursery practitioners in meeting the emotional and educational needs of under 2s

Support staff to develop their skills and enjoy their work

Support the manager and other leaders as required to ensure the smooth running of the nursery

Act as a key person to a group of young children, building professional relationships with parents and carers 

The candidate:

Must be qualified to at least level 3 in a recognised childcare qualification

Must be an experienced practitioner with a strong understanding of how very young children learn and develop

Must be calm, confident, organised and committed

Will have a proven track record of working in nurseries with an Ofsted grading of ‘Good’ or above
