Nursery Manager

Manager required for our well established nursery in Forest Hill.                                       

Full time 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, permanent position

Competitive salary £35K to £40K depending on experience

We are looking for an inspirational leader for our team of early years practitioners, to promote best practice and provide a supportive, nurturing environment where staff feel valued and respected.

As nursery manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the setting, delivering high quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years. You must be committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and to supporting inclusion. You will work closely with parents in ensuring that the needs of their children are met and that their learning is supported. 

Person specification:

• Experience of managing an early years setting is essential, five years experience in a supervisory role is preferable.
• Exceptional leadership skills required
• Detailed knowledge of all guidance and legislation relevant to early years settings and how to implement these effectively.
• Early years foundation degree (level 5) or higher is preferable.
• Computer literacy and experience of Word and Excel is essential
• Excellent knowledge of the updated EYFS is required
