The Wonder Years Bromley are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, caring and dynamic individual to manage our friendly Pre-school, set in beautiful grounds.

We are searching for an enthusiastic candidate who has a passion for delivering our own curriculum (taking aspects from the curiosity approach, Montessori and forest school curriculums).

We are a child-led setting, following the ‘in the moment planning’ method. We are working with a local Forest School leader to develop our own Forest School area and deliver weekly Forest school sessions to our children. We also have a Sports coach weekly and weekly Spanish/French sessions from an outside provider.

 We are looking for an individual with early years management experience, preferably within a pack away setting, someone who has in depth knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted, current legislation and safeguarding requirements as well as managing qualified staff and apprentices.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the preschool, leading a friendly and dedicated team, including, but not limited to observations, staff supervisions, daily risk assessments,

To implement our policies and procedures and ensure the highest standards of safeguarding are maintained and reviewed at all times.

We require someone with suitable experience at least at Assistant Manager level. With an impeccable work ethic and CV showing up to date and current/relevant CPD. Someone who is able to work alongside our ethos of childcare delivery and who demands high standards.

This job is to start August 31st, however we would be prepared to wait, if the right candidate came along. We appreciate that notice periods need to be given and worked through, and it is the summer holidays.

The position is full time you will need to be able to work between 7am and 5.30pm Mon-Thursday. Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications. Starting between, £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, pro rata. As well as benefits and bonuses. This is a term time only position.
