Early Years Room Leader (Hackney Campus)

£24,348 per annum (pro-rated salary)

Full Time, Term Time only 38 Weeks (0.83 FTE)

Working at our Hackney campus, you will lead, manage and work with a small team of Early Years Educators in planning and implementing programmes designed to meet the development and care needs of children in the Nursery.  
 
You should have experience of working with under-fives and hold a minimum level 3 childcare qualification and have at least 2 years of leadership experience. You should also have a flexible, child-centred approach to the provision of day care for children aged 06 months - 5 years, including the ability to plan and implement appropriate learning activities. You must have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and the new developments in Foundation Learning, and experience of working with external partners.


You will need:    

  • Real passion for working with young children and the ability to communicate with parents and families.  
  • Exceptional leadership skills with an ability to find and keep the best of the best in our team and drive further improvement.  
  • Fantastic people skills which build long-lasting trusted relationships with our current and future parents, as well as external partners. 
  • You will be someone who is dynamic, has the ability to work as part of a team, be able to use your initiative and have a high level of both written and spoken English.
