Do you have the experience, sensitivity and skills to support children and families?

Can you manage a busy but fulfilling caseload, providing effective advice, guidance and support?

Are you qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in health, social care or early years (or do you have the Work with Parents Level 3 award)?

This is a fixed-term contract to 30th November 2022 to provide maternity cover.

Children's Centres are places where children under 5 years old and their families can receive seamless integrated services and information. It is also where they can access help from a range of multi-disciplinary teams of professionals. You will work in assigned Children's Centre(s) providing support to the Family Support Worker Team Leader in the delivery of a high quality service.

The primary focus of this role is the provision of a range of engagement activities, information support and advice to families, both at our hubs and other sites within the community, including home visits. You are expected to have a ‘hands on’ approach to the delivery of services.

You will need a full driving licence and suitably insured car for use during working hours. This role is based across Bedfordshire.
