Have you got the experience, skill, compassion and open mindset to drive our preschool forward? 

The workforce at LCC is diverse, and current services include: Holiday Play with Meals Provision, Preschool and Family Support. We work with all members of the community, parents, children and young people  (0 – 18 years) are our primary beneficiaries.

We seek a highly skilled individual to join our rapidly developing, small and dynamic team, leading the delivery of high quality preschool and family support provision from within our centre.

You will be confident that your professional approach and your solid grounding in the early years sector will allow you to work within LCC’s collaborative approach to service delivery with other partners, stakeholders and local groups in order to provide the services needed in the local community.

You will be skilled at coordinating people and high quality EY service delivery, whilst also possessing the administrative and organisational skills to ensure all work is clearly tracked, monitored and evaluated as per our standardised software and individual funders requirements.

You will understand the wide-ranging challenges facing the EY sector, children and families. Being flexible in adjusting your practice, the practice of colleagues and organsational change to meet these needs.

Your work within our workforce will contribute to ensuring LCCs meets its aim of providing the highest quality provision and continually strives to improve and expand its services that are vitally needed by the community.

Hours will include some evenings and weekends.

Who we are:

Registered charity, based at the Max Roach Centre in Lambeth, Brixton. 

Established in 1981 by parents as a positive outcome from the Brixton Uprisings.

Managed by a board of annually elected trustees. Our management board is representative of the local community and currently consists of; parents, residents, project participants and professionals. 

What we do:

Support local children, young people and residents living in poverty and at disadvantage through the delivery of meaningful activities: Rosebuds Preschool (2 – 4 yrs), Holiday Play Project (0 -13yrs) and Family Support.

We have a growing team of 8 employees.
