Senior Nursery Officer

38.75 hours per week Fixed Term (up to one year maternity cover)

Ardleigh Green campus

£24,961 per annum

Working at our Ardleigh Green Nursery, you will lead, manage and work with a team of Nursery Officers in planning and implementing programmes designed to meet the development and care needs of children in the Nursery.

You should have experience of working with under-fives and a relevant qualification in childcare such as a CACHE Diploma. You should also have a flexible, child-centred approach to the provision of day care for children aged 18 months - five years, including the ability to plan and implement appropriate activities within an Equal Opportunities and stimulating environment.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to keep accurate records to ensure full utilisation of the Nursery.  As a key worker you must be able to relate effectively to both parents and, if appropriate, to outside agencies.
