This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to lead our nursery in Portsmouth, where we focus on encouraging children aged 0 to 5, to be children. We educate and care for children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage

(EYFS) curriculum, incorporating learning in an indoor/outdoor environment where  fresh air and exposure to the wider world are an integral part of learning.

You will be working with a dedicated team in a caring, family-friendly, characterful and stimulating environment which is inviting to children, parents and staff.

If you have a proven track record of managing a Good or Outstanding OFSTED graded Nursery and feel ready to take the next step on the management ladder, we have just the role for you.

Nursery Manager – Plus so much more!

We are looking for someone to take our nursery to the next stage of its development.  We are envisaging an expansion of our nursery, you will be  integral in creating the new working models but you will  also be ready to take on management of additional projects such as our play scheme for children currently residing in temporary accommodation.

This exciting opportunity requires a unique individual with experience of leading and supporting a staff team to improve practice, as well as a good working knowledge of family centred support work.  You will be a qualified nursery practitioner educated to EYFS Teacher Status, with excellent communication skills and be someone who embraces change.

You will be required to work as a team member, with managerial responsibilities, in a busy, demanding environment.

You will be a driven individual who shares our values and who has the passion to help us to improve the lives of Children and Families.

In return you can expect;-

  • A generous annual leave entitlement
  • A comprehensive pension scheme with generous employer contributions
  • Death in Service Benefit
  • An individual continuous development programme as well as in-house training days
  • An employee counselling line and the chance to work with some amazing people.
