About the Role
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with other staff members to provide for the needs of all the children in their care, but particularly for those in an assigned key group in which they will be responsible for. They will provide the children with a positive role model acting in accordance with the Nursery’s philosophy and Queen Mary University of London’s equal opportunities policies.
They will assist their team in meeting the standards expected by the Nursery Management and Ofsted, whilst monitoring the children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The post is open to those new to childcare, but you must have a commitment to learn the best approaches, and a willingness to pursue a qualification (if not already held) in the field of early years.
You will be passionate about childcare and show the ability to communicate and interact with young children and their carers. The successful candidates will need the ability to read and write in English to complete reports, a strong dedication to teamwork, and focus on the need of customers.
The post is full time (40 hours per week), permanent appointment. Starting salary will be £23,552 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
