Early Years Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Maternity Cover

Location: Central London

Salary: Competitive

Start Date: April 2022

Arnold House School

Founded in 1905, Arnold House is a popular boys’ prep school based in St John’s Wood, London. In 2021 we embarked on a key new chapter in the history of the School with the opening of an Early Years setting. This is based in the Huxley Building, a short walk from the main school site. The Early Years at Arnold House consists of two reception classes and two pre-reception classes, enabling boys to enter the School and benefit from an Arnold House education from age 3.

We are looking for an inspiring and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to join us in April 2022 for a maternity cover role.

The successful applicant will be an exceptional teaching assistant who has a passion for supporting young children and embraces the opportunity of working within the wider context of a prep school. They will have a strong track record of establishing excellent relationships with children, parents and staff alike, and relish the chance to be part of the Early Years team at Arnold House.

The salary will be discussed at interview. Additional benefits include school holidays as holidays with pay, pension contributions and the Cycle-to-Work Scheme.
