Nursery Manager or Nursery Teacher

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or Nursery Teacher with proven leadership abilities to join our purpose built nursery for 3 and 4 year olds.

Our nursery setting has been purposefully designed to ensure that the care, play and learning environment is exceptional. We aim to have the best child friendly space, that maximises natural daylight indoors, whilst also ensuring that children can make best use of outdoor play all year round.

Our setting is attached to a ‘Good’ primary school so we have a superb facilities to use such as a forest school area, library, astro turf pitch and several playgrounds.

As our Nursery Manager or Teacher, you must be willing to go above and beyond for the children and staff, ensuring that you create a safe and enriching home-from-home environment filled with opportunities to learn and develop. Your aim should always be to enable the children to be happy, sociable, confident, independent, creative, and unique.

Our nursery curriculum has been identified as exceptional by the Local Authority and fully resourced so that you can spend more time with the children improving their outcomes.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of the Ofsted framework, work to ensure all children are safeguarded, and have the chance to develop to ensure an incredible future.

The successful candidate must be Early Years Professional Status / Early Years Teacher Status or QTS or another approved Level 6 qualification.

There is the opportunity for this to be all year round or term time only. Please make your preference clear on your application.

This is a grade 10 position for a Nursery Manager and the salary scale is £31346 to £33782 (pro rata for term time only).  For a teacher this is a main pay scale position.
