Training & Quality Deputy Manager
Salary: £30,000 to £33,000

Linden Tree Nursery Schools are a group of 3 small Froebel nursery schools in South West London. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and capable deputy for our Training & Quality Manager to join our professional team. You will be based in our Training Rooms in Clapham Old Town and work with our 50 staff across our nursery schools with a register for up to 43 children each day aged from six months to five years old. You will become a key part of one of London's most innovative and truly independent nursery groups.
Main responsibilities in post :
Help to maintain our Training timetable and contribute to the delivery of it's elements
To design and deliver appropriate training and/or contract with external suppliers to provide modules where required
To undertake projects to improve quality across the nursery schools
Organise the required training for all staff within the Froebelian approach through internal and external training
Role model best practice and provide cover or assist in Nursery where required (50/50 desk/nursery based)
To deputise for the Training & Quality Manager in their absence
Requirements
· minimum Level 3 qualification (Degree or Level 5 Management qualification desired) in Early Years and/or Education and Child Care
· experience managing staff in a busy day nursery environment and enjoy those challenges
· understanding of training delivery in a traditional nursery setting and be willing to embrace the Froebelian principles which underpin our approach
· an excellent work ethic, be professional, whilst friendly, and possess the ability to emotionally engage the staff team
· superb time management and problem solving abilities
· sound IT skills and able to use Powerpoint and Excel
· the vision to develop future educational practice
· Must have the right to work in the UK, no convictions or cautions, clear DBS

Benefits
Salary: £30,000 to £33,000
Holiday: 27 days (plus 8 days bank holiday per annum)
Wellbeing : We are closed on all Bank Holidays, 2 Inset days, one Staff Appreciation afternoon, Christmas Eve and for the week between Christmas. You will also receive an additional 2 wellbeing days in addition to holidays per annum.

Contractual hours : 42.5 hours per week; our opening hours are 8am until 6.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 6pm on Friday. Staff shifts start at 7.45am.
