Early Years Teacher
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Central London
Salary: Competitive
Start Date: September 2022
Arnold House School
Founded in 1905, Arnold House is a popular boys’ prep school based in St John’s Wood, London. In 2021 we have embarked on a key new chapter in the history of the School with the opening of an Early Years setting. This is based in the Huxley Building, a short walk from the main school site. The Early Years at Arnold House consists of two reception classes and two pre-reception classes, enabling boys to enter the School and benefit from an Arnold House education from age 3.
We are looking for an inspiring and committed Early Years teacher to join us in September 2022.
The successful applicant will be an exceptional teacher who has a passion for teaching young children and embraces the opportunity of working within the wider context of a prep school. They will have a strong track record of establishing excellent relationships with children, parents and staff alike, and relish the chance to be part of the Early Years team at Arnold House.
The salary will be discussed at interview. Additional benefits include the Teacher Pension Scheme (currently), Fee Remission and the Cycle-to-Work Scheme.
For further information and to download an Application Pack and Form, please visit our website via the apply link.
Deadline for applications is: Monday 16th May at midday.
Arnold House School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The role will include regulated activity and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
