Early Years Practitioner Level 3

Small independent nursery seeking a Keyworker  for our Baby Room. Candidate needs to be level 3 qualified and have at least two years experience working with this age group ( under 2's). 

Duties would include:

• being keyworker for 5 children, responsible for monitoring their development
• contributing to monthly project plans and implementing them
• organising activities to suit the needs of the individual children
• assisting in the smooth running of the day
• liaising with parents, giving verbal feedback as well as updating diaries

The role

• permanent position, full time 830-530 or a 9-6 shift
• a salary between £23,000 and £24,500
• monthly bonus scheme
• paid lunch break and hot meal everyday
• 6 weeks annual leave excluding bank holidays

• continuous professional development, the nursery requires all staff to have updated first aid and safeguarding qualifications, as well as a choice of at least two other courses to undertake a year.

Ideally looking for someone who is fairly local or within 2/3 miles to N16.. We are looking for someone who wants to work in childcare and is proud at the achievements of the children in their care. Good time keeping, motivated, creative and patience is essential. They also need to have a high standard of both spoken and written english.
