We are seeking to recruit a highly experienced Senior to lead the room at our nursery in Mitcham.

Lavender Nursery is based in Mitcham and is run by the local authority. We are looking for someone to lead our full daycare room, for children aged 2 to 4 years of age. 

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, who must hold at least a level 3 childcare qualification and have 5 years or more post qualification experience. The successful candidate must have previously supervised staff within a childcare setting, delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage, and must have a proven track record demonstrating the skills and experience gained in leading a small childcare service and ensuring positive learning outcomes for children.

The successful candidate will have experience of supporting children with SEN, preferably as a SENCO, and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work with families and with professionals to ensure that children have appropriate interventions to help them make progress and be ready for their transition into school.

35 hours a week working alternative weekly shifts of either 7.30am to 3.30pm or 9.50am to 5.50pm
