Hackney Learning Trust is a department within Hackney Council that is responsible for Hackney's Children's Centres, 27,000 pupils in 75 Schools and Early Years and Adult Education. Our vision is to provide excellent education for every child, young person and adult learner.

At Hackney Learning Trust, we know just how exciting Hackney's future looks. A future that's largely going to be determined by today's younger generation - the very people we're working so hard to help and develop.

At Ann Tayler Children’s Centre we are looking to appoint a dedicated Senior Family Practitioner, to join our early help multi-agency team. This is a good opportunity for a Family Support Practitioner in the service to gain further skill leading a team and case supervision, with ongoing support from the Cluster Quality Improvement Partner. You will lead to a high standard, our established team of family practitioners, who work holistically with families to increase parenting capacity and build resilience to support good child outcomes. The role involves empowering positive change within families through the supervision of the Family Practitioners, practice development meetings, group facilitation and outreach activities.

Significant professional experience of working with vulnerable families within a culturally diverse community is essential. You must also have good interpersonal and relationship building skills and possess good assessment skills.

You will be an experienced, suitably qualified practitioner with some experience of team manager or an eagerness to learn with an appropriate qualification in early years, teaching, social work, parenting or health.
