Role: Apprentice 

Location: Albrighton, Wolverhampton

Contract: Fixed Term Full Time 40 hours per week  

Salary: £10,032 per annum 

Closing Date: Midnight 16th August 2022

At Spring Nurseries, we are passionate about your career, our Apprentices have progressed to Early Years Assistants once they complete their qualification and are now taking the next step to becoming Practitioner's with us.  You will have a Mentor as well as your learning provider Assessor to work with you throughout your training and on to the next steps.  It's exciting stuff, are you ready to join?  

In the role of Apprentice you will be;

  • Working alongside nursery practitioners in supporting children's development, participating, planning and setting up activities for a range of children. 
  • Developing successful relationships with children and their families. 
  • Observing and track children's developmentand share this with parent/carers and other professionals. 
  • Supporting children during mealtimes and toilet training. 
  • Attending monthly staff meetings and 6 monthly parents/carers evenings. 
  • Completing an apprenticeship to gain your childcare qualification, working within the setting to support the completion of your coursework and studies. 

What we need from you: 

Our successful candidate will have an enthusiastic and pro-active mindset with a positive attitude and have the ability to form strong and supportive relationships with parents, children and the team. Our Job Description outlines the requirements of the role, but the ‘must haves' are: 

  • A genuine interest in childcare & a true passion for children 
  • Patience, a friendly manner, and the ability to communicate with children, young people, colleagues and other adults such as parents and carers. 
  • A commitment to study time to help you achieve your qualification.  
  • A desire to complete your apprenticeship and become a valued member of our team.
