About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner to be part of the team at Kew Green Nursery. The role is a term-time role, reflective of the three terms at Kew Green Preparatory School.

Kew Green Nursery will open in September 2022. The Nursery is part of an already established and excellent Early Years department at Kew Green Preparatory School and part of the wider family of schools within the Gardener Schools Group. The Nursery is in a separate building to the Preparatory school, located a short walk away on Kew Green (TW9 3AH).

The Nursery team will work closely with the Kew Green Preparatory School Early Years (Reception) team to ensure the Early Years department for the whole school is united, both in curriculum progression, staff partnerships and transition from Nursery to Reception.

The role requires an experienced, professional, dynamic, committed, creative, passionate, warm, and forward-thinking Nursery Practitioner, who is willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the provision. The role is suited to a Nursery Practitioner who is able to identify, reflect and act on new ideas and initiatives.

The Nursery Practitioner must be able to work in a team, establishing positive working relationships through effective communication and supportive practice, to deliver the highest care and educational standards for all children in the Nursery. Importantly, the Nursery Practitioner must always be the voice of the child, embracing and embedding the philosophy of Kew Green Nursery in all areas of learning.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with parents, other professionals and colleagues, and adhere to all policies and procedures.
