Kew Green Nursery will open in September 2022. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new, high-quality nursery based in an established educational community in a beautiful part of London.

The Nursery is part of the Early Years department at Kew Green Preparatory School, located a short walk away from the main school on Kew Green (TW9 3AH). It is part of the wider family of schools within the Gardener Schools Group https://www.kgps.co.uk/nursery/about-us.

Full-time Nursery Assistant

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Assistant to be part of the team at Kew Green Nursery. The role is a term-time role, reflective of the three terms at Kew Green Preparatory School.

Kew Green Nursery will open in September 2022. The Nursery is part of the Early Years department at Kew Green Preparatory School and part of the wider family of schools within the Gardener Schools Group. The Nursery is in a separate building to the Preparatory school, located a short walk away on Kew Green (TW9 3AH).

The Nursery team will work closely with the Kew Green Preparatory School Early Years (Reception) team to ensure the Early Years department for the whole school is united, both in curriculum progression, staff partnerships and transition from Nursery to Reception.

The role requires an experienced, professional, flexible, dynamic, committed, creative, passionate, warm, and forward-thinking person.

The Nursery Assistant must be able to:

  • Be part of a team and ensure the day to day tasks are complete  (e.g., hygiene standards, risk assessments and room preparation) as well as establish positive working relationships through effective communication and supportive practice.
  • Deliver the highest care and educational standards for all children in the Nursery.
  • Support and inspire children in achieving the highest standards of care and education.
  • Always act as the voice of the child, embracing and embedding the philosophy at Kew Green Nursery in all areas of provision and expectations.
  • Communicate clearly with adults and children (verbally and written).

The successful candidate must adhere to all policies and procedures at Kew Green Nursery.
