As part of our commitment to provide care closer to home, in 2017 we also opened a cancer centre and a kidney treatment centre at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup. St Thomas’ has one of the largest critical care units in the UK and one of the busiest emergency departments in London. It is also home to Evelina London Children’s Hospital.
We are looking for Nursery Assistants and Nursery Officers to join our team.
Nursery Assistant
Fixed term, Full time 37.5 hours per week (7am- 7pm)
£22,383 per annum
Nursery Assistant Job Summary
- To participate with the Nursery Officers in the day to day operation and organisation of the nursery within agreed policies and procedures and to promote good parent/staff relationships within the group.
- To work as part of a team, providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment within the Day Nursery for a group of children aged between 3 months and 5 years.
- To assist in delivering a high standard of care and education which meets legislative requirements and allows children to develop to their full potential.

12 Months fixed term, full time 37.5 hours per week (7am- 7pm)

Nursery Officer Job Summary
- To work under the guidance of the nursery management team and/ or other designated staff.
- To participate in the day to day operation and organisation of the nursery within agreed policies and procedures and to promote solid parent/staff relationships within the group.
- To work as part of a team, providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment within the Day Nursery for a group of children aged between 3 months and 5 years.
- To assist in the delivery in the standard of care and education which meets legislative requirements and allows children to develop to their full potential.
