Both nursery teams and Central Office teams are responsible for ensuring quality care is provided and that LEYF's social impact is delivered to as many children and families as possible.

About the role

Are you an experienced data-driven HR professional with a Shared Services background? Do you strive to provide the best quality customer service and help to improve services continuously? If so, then we’d love to hear from you as we build our People Team capability.

LEYF is constantly evolving and expanding, meaning the Central Office team’s role is crucial in supporting the growth of the business. An exciting role has become available in the People team to work alongside HR professionals with a magnitude of experience and knowledge.

As LEYF welcomes new employees to our settings, the People team’s role is vital in providing support to both new starters as they acclimate to our existing teams and current employees. Your role is pivotal to ensuring all employees across LEYF receive the best customer service and feel confident in HR processes.

As a team leader, you will play a huge part in identifying opportunity areas and helping to drive improvements across all workflows. As we implement a new HR information system, the People Operations Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring that the People Operations function delivers effective administration and systemisation of employee records, payroll changes, and general people management queries.

If you have the qualities listed below we would love to hear from you;

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills

o HR experience in a similar environment

o Coaching – practical experience in supporting and developing managers and colleagues

o Extremely organised and able to manage own workload

o Demonstrable customer service approach

o Passionate about being a part of positive change in the lives of children and families

As part of the LEYF family, you will be entitled to:

· 70% off childcare within one of our settings

· 26 Days Annual Leave + your Birthday off

· Flexible working available

· 7% employer contribution pension scheme

· Life assurance

How to apply

Your CV application should be supported by a Personal Statement (no more than 2 sides of A4) outlining how your knowledge and experience would make you successful in the role. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview the week beginning 20th November but applications are welcome past this date.

With a network of 39 nurseries across London, we are one of the largest providers of funded places for two-year-olds in London, and over 50% of those nurseries are rated Outstanding by Ofsted. As a social enterprise, our profits are invested back into our organisation so that we can continue to provide this high-quality education for all children and their families.

If you want to work somewhere with real purpose and heart, LEYF has a role for you. Whilst you are working to support our children, we make sure to support you too. You’ll benefit from:

  • Award-winning training and development
  • 26 days annual leave + 8 paid training days each year
