Early Years Practitioner/ Educator

The BKA International School is a private EY day care and school that caters to both International and Swiss families in the Basel region of Switzerland. Our locations based in Basel provide an environment in which children can playfully learn and develop Bilingually in a German and English speaking environment. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced EY professionals to join our early years team.

Early Years Practitioner/Educator in Basel (Switzerland)

Your tasks:

• Day to day childcare through supporting all areas of early childhood development.
• Direct interactions with children and families.
• Plan/ prepare and deliver age-appropriate stimulating activities to promote emotional, physical, and cognitive development of the children.
• Work within a vibrant team of passionate early year caregivers.
• Provide written and verbal feedback and information in English.

Your profile:

• Must hold Cache level 3 Diploma in early years.
• Must hold EU passport or have permission to work and live in Switzerland.
• Must be English speaking with high level of comprehension and communication skills.
• Relevant experience and understanding of working with early years children (0 to 6).
• Good understanding of Early childhood development and education
• Flexibility in planning and implementation tasks.
• Excellent communication skills
• Caring, enthusiastic, loyal, dedicated, energetic and have a good sense of humor.
