About Us
Our team is a colorful bunch of award-winning superheroes. In addition to our preschool, we offer a wraparound play service with gourmet meal provision (okay, maybe not Michelin-star, but pretty tasty!) and family support. We facilitate children throughout their childhood (0-18) and provide activities for everyone in the community—mums, dads, aunties, uncles, nannies, and grandpas. Our Preschool
Rosebuds Preschool is rated good by Ofsted offering 24 places for children aged 2-4 years. Joining our team as a highly skilled individual means leading the delivery of a high-quality preschool provision as part of a mission-driven environment dedicated to nurturing young children and supporting families.
Requirements
You will have a strong foundation in the early years sector and a confident professional attitude which will allow you to work within LCC’s collaborative approach to service delivery with our partners, stakeholders and local groups. It's an exciting opportunity to blend your skills with a shared vision for service excellence. A satisfactory DBS and suitability checks will be required.
Skills
With your minimum level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent you will be skilled at effectively coordinating a team using a blend of strong communication skills and an eye for detail especially in administrative and organisational tasks to ensure all work is clearly tracked, monitored and evaluated as per our standardised software and individual funding requirements. An individual that is committed to their personal and professional development is essential.
Purpose
You will understand the challenges in the EY sector and how crucial it is to support children and their families by being flexible in adjusting your practice and in support and competent in leading an Early Years team through organisational change.

Registered charity, based at the Max Roach Centre in Lambeth, Brixton.
Established in 1981 by parents as a positive outcome from the Brixton Uprisings.
Managed by a board of annually elected trustees. Our management board is representative of the local community and currently consists of; parents, residents, project participants and professionals.
What we do:
Support local children, young people and residents living in poverty and at disadvantage through the delivery of meaningful activities: Rosebuds Preschool (2 – 4 yrs), Holiday Play Project (0 -13yrs) and Family Support.

We have a growing team of 8 employees.
